Following complaints issued about a weekly outlet, the editor-in-chief has been summoned to court and sentenced to 91 days in prison and 10 lashes.
The press court did not hold these hearings and this ruling was issued by an ordinary criminal court, according to a report on the state-run Tabnak website. (State-run Tabnak.ir website – October 11, 2015)
