Looking deep into the past 39 years, it can be well understood that the Iranian regime has had a history of internal suppression, exporting terrorism and warmongering in the region, as well as creating unrest and tension and export of fundamentalism in this region of the world in its record.

The fact about Iran is that the day after the 1979 Iranian revolution was hijacked by Khomeini, the regime’s desire for regional hegemony and interference in the countries of the region in order to dominate them and create an Islamic caliphate became the top priority for the mullahs.

In this regard, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), in her speech in a solidarity conference with Iranian Resistance on November 15, 2013 said: “We all see that from al-Qaeda to the Lebanese side of the Quds Force, the Hezbollah group, as well as the reactionary and terrorist movements in Yemen, all are directly affiliated to and subordinate of the mullahs ruling Iran.”

“Also the daily explosions in Iraq, fanning war in Syria, introducing schism across Muslim countries and all kinds of terrorist acts against the Arab countries, all are directed from Tehran.”

“From each side, the role of this regime as the main enemy of security, stability and freedom of the people of the Middle East can be seen.”

“For this reason, we emphasize that the principal confrontation in this region is not between Shiites and Sunnis, Muslims and non-Muslims, Arabs and non-Arabs, or East and West, it is rather between the regime of Velayat-e faqih on the one hand and people and countries of the region on the other.”

“Establishing the front against fundamentalism is the solution to confronting this predicament. This front can and must rid the region of the mullahs’ ruling Iran which is also the best assistance to the wishes of Iranian people to free themselves from the evil of mullahs and attain freedom.”

“To form this front, we call on Arab and Muslim countries to express Solidarity with the Iranian People and their Resistance.”

Solidarity at the Grand Gathering of Iran’s Democratic Alternative

“Solidarity” is the united voice that this Resistance has been promoting since the mullahs monopolized the power in Iran, and this year, this unique call will see its realization again at the Grand Gathering of Iranians on June 30 in Villepinte, Paris.

Solidarity for “a Free Iran and uprisings until the overthrow of the regime”…

As Mrs. Rajavi stated in the last year’s grand gathering of Iranians in Paris, “The light of change is shining on Iran… The end of religious tyranny and a democratic change in Iran is inevitable.”
