Over two dozens people, mostly Saudis, accused of spying for Iran will appear before the Criminal Court in Riyadh, a Saudi daily reported on Sunday.

The Saudi Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP) has already completed the list of charges against a group of 27 people who had been arrested in 2013 in several Saudi cities.

The group includes Saudis, a Lebanese, an Iranian, a Turkish national.

According to the report by Makkah daily, the bureau had sufficient evidence on the involvement of the accused.

The list of charges includes gathering data on a number of vital installations in Saudi Arabia.

The ministry had earlier said that 21 of them have confessed and legally documented their confessions.
