CRI – Iranian political prisoner Alireza Golipour, wrote a message praising the Iranian Resistance’s “Free Iran” gathering on July 9 in Paris. The text of his message, smuggled out of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, is as follows:
“My greetings to the brothers and sisters who are fighting for freedom.
What a pleasant moment to see your unification and empathy. It is a proud moment for us to stand against the mullahs’ regime with all our
We are proud of you and we were even prouder when we witnessed your magnificent gathering.
With the presence of all people of different classes, you proved the meaning of freedom of thought, expression, and democracy. Interestingly, the Iranian dictatorship was trembling with fear and they planned to destroy you but their attempt failed. It was not possible to spoil such purity and beauty. Another dishonor has been left on their dirty and corrupt record.
I have a heart full of longing and appreciation for you, and because of your strong resistance, I shall shout out loudly:
As your little brother, I am standing firmly on my principles and I am proud of my ideology and beliefs.
With hope for a free Iran.”
