2286-gifNCRI – Mohammad Esmaeil Saeidi, a member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (Parliament), has acknowledged that the sale of children continues in Iran.

In an interview with state-run ‘Young Journalists Club’ news agency on Thursday September 29, this member of the regime’s parliament from Tabriz (Western Iran) stated that sale of children is one of the dilemmas that has been added to the list of social harms in the country.

He added: “Increased sale of children is the result of poverty and unemployment, and the officials are only watching these problems instead of trying to resolve them and manage the crisis.”

He added: “When the foundation of the family is affected with improper use of the internet, poverty, unemployment, divorce, addiction, and lack of job security, sale of children and parents’ lack of affection doesn’t sound strange.”

Saeidi acknowledged that the officials are apathetic regarding these issues and added: “Still, the officials have not taken an effective measure to tackle these social harms whereas the continuation of the current situation will definitely lead to total destruction of the family foundation and even more crisis.”
