19 Iranian Arabs convicted on bogus charge of “acting against national security”

8921NCRI – Nineteen Iranian ethnic Arabs from Shush accused of the bogus charge of ‘acting against national security’ have been sentenced up to two years in prison by the regime’s Shush court branch 101 presided by judge Mahmood Sarkheh.

The defendants were arrested in early 2016 by Shush Intelligence Office. After being kept in detention for several months, they were then transferred to Fajr prison in Dezful.

According to the verdict handed down by Shush court branch 101, the defendants have been charged with participating in destruction of public property by setting on fire a vehicle belonging to the security forces, disrupting public security and acting against national security. The regime’s so-called judge sentenced 15 of the defendants to two years in jail each.

The names of some of the convicted victims are:

Mohammad Dabat, 25 – Saeid Ale Bu Eini, 27 – Yaber (Jaber) Kanani, 27 – Ahmad Dabat, 24 – Ahmad Dabat, 21 – Ghasem Saadi Ale Kasir – Mohammad Kanani, 22 – Mostafa Esmaeili, 24 – Abodollah Mousavi, 22 – Karim Kanani, 20 – Mohammad Ale Kasir, 20 – Mohammad Sagouri, 25 – Ali Beit Alivi, 25.

Other defendants were sentenced by court branch 101 to pay a fine of 200 million Rials. They include:

Hamed, 17

Ghasem Mehrieh, 15

These political prisoners are held in Dezful prison among the ordinary prisoners.
