Global Solidarity with People of Aleppo and Syrian Revolution

NCRI – Global solidarity with Aleppo and international demonstrations in support of the Syrian people and revolution continue with companionship and active participation of the supporters of the PMOI and Iranian Resistance.

Al Arabiya TV in a live broadcast of Paris demonstration said: “For the first time, a large number of Syrian opposition and expatriates, along with members and supporters of Iranian Resistance have formed such a large protest gathering in front of Iranian regime’s embassy in Paris. The regime’s embassy is in front of us and the protestors make their voice heard. A large number of French people and personalities have also joined the demonstration. Representatives of some French organizations particularly Amnesty International, Doctors without Borders, Global Doctors and some Jurist organizations offered speech and demanded the militias affiliated to Iran regime’s as well as Bashar Assad be considered as war criminals.”

“The participants accuse Khamenei of being the main partner in the killing of Syrian people particularly in Aleppo. These slogans are also written on their banners and placards: ‘Khamenei and Assad are war criminals’ and ‘They must be tried in courts to face justice.’ Aleppo is still under siege and latest reports indicate that Iran regime’s militants have imprisoned hundreds of people.”

“In a few minutes, French personalities on behalf of People of France will hand in a protest letter against direct intervention of Iran regime in Iraq, Yemen and Syria and call for the eviction of Iran regime’s militants form Aleppo so that the city is free as the demonstration demands. They (the protestors) are now chanting slogans such as Bashar get out, Syria remain free,’ (Dismiss Bashar, Free Syria).”

Sky-News Arabic TV also broadcast a report of the demonstrations in solidarity with Aleppo and said: “The cities of London and Paris are witnessing demonstrations in front of the Iran regime’s embassies condemning the massacres that the militants affiliated to the regime are committing in Aleppo. Syrian and Iranian oppositions are participating in these protest gatherings.”

Sky-News reporter in Paris said: “We are now in front of the Iran regime’s embassy. The demonstrators condemn the killings in Aleppo and call for sending aid for the people and guaranteeing their departure from the city. The Iranian and Syrian oppositions are participating in this demonstration. Iranians describe what is happening in Syria as occupation by the Iranian regime. (The demonstrators chant the slogans) Khamenei is a murderer and Iran regime must be evicted (from Syria and region) so that Aleppo becomes free.”

“Iranian opposition has distributed documents detailing the situation in Aleppo. They say they have information about the sectarian militias that the regime is Iran is using in Aleppo and that the militants perform field (and summary) executions in the city. The opposition has also announced the names of Iranian regime officials in Aleppo and (other areas of) Syria. The documents point out the Iranian regime has suffered heavy human casualties of more than 10 thousand of its forces in Syria 69 of them are with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC’s) Brigadier General and Colonels. The Iranian opposition has also previously demanded the referral of those responsible for the killings to international tribunal to face justice.”

“The demonstration is held to support (people of) Aleppo. They chant slogans in Arabic and French. Even Iranians chant the slogan ‘People want the overthrow of the regime’ in Arabic.”

In addition, Sky News Arabic Network also reported: “On Saturday (December 17), the protestors gathered in front of Iran regime’s embassy in Paris to condemn the atrocities and killing committed by the Iran regime affiliated militias in Aleppo.”

“The oppositions to the Iranian and Syrian regimes participated in this gathering in the framework of a series of demonstrations in solidarity with the people of Aleppo. They condemned the siege of Aleppo and mass killing as well as forced displacement of people.”

“Ground reports by the activists indicate that dozens of people have been mass executed (by Hezbollah and Iran regime’s militants) in East Aleppo, a city that has been facing heavy bombing and airstrikes since 2012.”

Liberation, a French newspaper, also wrote: “On Saturday, demonstrations were held in Berlin and Paris to support people of Aleppo. In addition, (solidarity) rallies and meetings were held with the participation of hundreds in Lille and Strasbourg as well.”
